About
Built from Island stone, with roses winding up the front door, the National Trust self-catering holiday cottage lies behind the church in Mottistone village.
The cottage sleeps four in one double and one twin room, and has delightful enclosed gardens and lovely views across open fields to the sea. Its proximity to Mottistone Gardens means it's peaceful and quiet and guests are welcome to explore the gardens for free, as often as they like during opening hours. The setting also makes it perfect for families with small children.
Inside there's an open fire in the sitting room and other facilities include a washing machine, freezer, dishwasher and wifi. Space is available for at least two cars in the lane adjacent to the cottage.
As Rose Cottage is a National Trust property, guests will have free access (during opening hours) to all Isle of Wight National Trust properties. Please take your holiday confirmation invoice as proof of stay to gain entry to these properties.
