About
A pair of nineteenth-century farmer workers' cottages, now National Trust self-catering holiday cottages, 1 Compton and 2 Compton Farm Cottages are ideally located for exploring the quieter, west side of the Island.
There is no TV or mobile signal so you really can get away from it all in these cottages. There's still plenty to do though and Compton beach is just across the road. Make sure you try surfing or see if you can find the dinosaur foot-casts at low tide.
Both cottages sleep four guests in one double and one twin bedroom and have a washing machine, freezer and dishwasher. Despite the lack of signal, each cottages has a TV and DVD player and visitors may wish to bring their own DVDs. There's parking for one car per cottage at the front of the property and also a National Trust car park adjacent to the cottages.
The garden surrounding the cottages is shared. There is a small seating area at the front of the cottage.
1 and 2 Compton Farm Cottages can be booked together.
As 1 and 2 Compton Farm Cottages are National Trust property, guests will have free access (during opening hours) to all Isle of Wight National Trust properties. Please take your holiday confirmation invoice as proof of stay to gain entry to these properties.
