Literary Heroes trail

The Isle of Wight Literery Heroes trail will take you to some wonderful places across the Island, introducing you to some of the wonderful sights and scenes which influenced some of the great literary heroes on our Island. 

Victoria's Island trail

Explore Victoria's Island from visiting Queen Victoria's Isle of Wight residence at Osborne to Shanklin Chine that was one of the Queen's favourite places to visit. Walk in the footsteps of Queen Victoria and discover her many favourite places on our Island. 

Warrior trail

The Warrior trail is a six mile circular trail which can be tackled on foot, by bike and even on horseback. It has been created in celebration of one of the Isle of Wight’s most prominent First World War stories; that of General Jack Seely and his horse Warrior.

Smugglers trail

Discover the untold story of Niton smugglers by taking a journey along the Smugglers Trail that has been created by Niton & Whitwell Parish Council. Follow the footsteps of the smugglers by taking this scenic trail through coastal caves and woodland. Along the way, enjoy the stunning sea views and historical landmarks.
