Say Yes to thrills and adventure! For families and the thrillseekers amongst you, look no further than the great variety of adventure parks to enjoy right here on the Isle of Wight.
Whether it's rollercoasters and excitement that you seek, or pirates, fantasy and adventure, the Isle of Wight theme parks have it all!
Say Yes to making memories
Take an exhilarating chairlift ride against the backdrop of the Isle of Wight's most famous landmark ‘The Needles’ at The Needles Landmark Attraction. Once at the bottom, soak up the stunning views from the beach and enjoy a paddle in the sea. Or get closer to the Needles by taking a pleasure cruise. There’s plenty to do here for the whole family - enjoy creating your own unique coloured sand souvenir, using the sand collected from the cliffs of Alum Bay. You’ll also find a 4D cinema, a sweet factory where you can test out the wares and plenty of classic traditional children's rides.
Say Yes to family days out
Let your imagination run riot on an adventure to visit the UK’s oldest theme park, Blackgang Chine. Take a trip through the wild west country and adventure with pirates and smugglers, get wet on a water slide and see if you are brave enough to tackle ‘Extinction’ - the Island’s newest ride, a 360-degree pendulum swing which will see you soar to new heights, taking you an incredible 18 meters up in the air! If you are looking for something a bit tamer, there are plenty of other rides for smaller children to enjoy including the favourite Snakes & Ladders where you become the piece in a life-sized board game! As well as the fun rides, you’ll find many different ‘Lands of Imagination’ so you are sure to find the perfect one for you - is it Cowboy Town? Underwater Kingdom? Or perhaps it’s the Jurassic-themed Restricted Area 5?
Say Yes to entertainment
Take a walk along the promenade to discover everything Shanklin Seafront has to offer. If you fancy an 18-hole crazy golf tournament, choose your theme from Jurassic Bay or Pirate Cove - an immersive pirate-themed course, navigating through hidden coves, treacherous waters, and forgotten shipwrecks. You’ll also find a fun park here with bumper boats, mini go-kart track, soft play centre, a balloon ride and Captain Jack’s Runaway Train. The Summer Arcade at Shanklin Seafront is the perfect spot to indulge in classic seaside amusements and entertainment for the whole family, whatever the weather.
