Test your aim with archery, see how far you can balance on the slackline, and dress up for a photo-opp in the stocks. There are hidden mice to hunt for too – keep your eyes open for the mysterious Pied Piper of Newtown….

This ancient backwater is one of the best places to explore for nature in the summer – its network of secluded creeks and waterways, flower meadows and woodland is bursting with wildlife, from dragonflies and butterflies to red squirrels.
