Sacred buildings
Sophie Andreae CBE, DSG, FSA, IHBC has been the Vice Chair of the Patrimony Committee of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales since 2002. Sophie is an architectural historian helping to protect and promote historic buildings. She has served on a number of heritage bodies, including as a Trustee of Historic Royal Palaces, as an elected Council Member of the National Trust and as member of the Fabric Advisory Committee for St Paul’s Cathedral.

Geoffrey Scott OSB is the former abbot of Douai Abbey (Reading). He is titular abbot of Lindisfarne and parish priest of Alcester (Warks). He serves as librarian, archivist and junior master, congregational annalist, and president of the Catholic Archives Society. He is a renowned historian who has published extensively on English monasticism.

Nigel Hartley MBE is the CEO of the Mountbatten Hospice, Isle of Wight. He has a postgraduate qualification in management from Ashridge Business School, England and has an international reputation as a teacher and lecturer. Nigel is also an experienced published writer having authored numerous articles, chapters and books.

Beekeeping on the Isle of Wight
Mary Case DL was born and brought up on the Island. She has been a member of the Isle of Wight beekeepers Association since 1984, during that time she has been hon. Secretary, committee member and president. Her beekeeping hobby grew into a business, she is now a bee farmer. Mary is a founder member of the Island Farmer’s Market and at present is Treasurer and co-ordinator. A former High Sheriff, she recently became President of the Community Action IW Awards.
