A traditional Victorian family run village pub in Carisbrooke, Newport with 6 B&B rooms.   

Open from 8 -10am for Breakfasts, the new bar menu features dishes using locally sourced ingredients and tapping into popular food trends. Sunday lunch is a special day at the Waverley we serve, delicious fresh cooked, Beef, Honey roast ham, chicken and lamb, homemade vegetarian/GF/ Vegan option also available with all the trimmings and five fresh vegetables. 

We are proud to serve rotating island Ales from Island breweries, Goddards, Island Brewery and Yates, and a fantastic wine list featuring wines from 9 different countries brought to us from Wight and Wessex wines. Alongside a large spirit selection including an extensive Gin list and a popular range of, lagers, ciders and beers including low alcohol/GF varieties you are sure to find a drink to quench your thirst.

With a vibrant music scene welcoming island musicians from different Genres, including a weekly local folk group, open Mic night and local live bands Saturday nights (April to December inc) you are sure to find something for all tastes.

Other events include monthly Quiz nights, themed food nights and local fun charity events.

In the warmer months visitors can relax in one of our suntrap gardens and perhaps be lucky enough to enjoy musical entertainment from our garden marquee.

During the wintertime you can cosy up in front of our open log fire and enjoy a selection of home cooked favourites including our popular festive menu.
