The Wheatsheaf Hotel, originally a coaching inn dating back to the 17th century, is situated in the centre of Newport. It has recently been renovated to a high standard. 

It boasts as a moden but traditional pub and hotel with plenty of delicious dishes, home-cooked treats, local ales, beers and wines to indulge after a day of exploring the Island. 

If you are visiting for business we are also perfecct for your stay as we are located in a central position on the Isle of Wight. 

The town of Newport is an original market town, with it's stunning restored church as a centre piece, there are also lots of cafe bars and shops. The hotel is only a two minute walk to central public transport links, ten minute drive to passenger and car ferry ports to Southampton and Portsmouth or 15-20 minutes from stunning coastal towns across the Island.
