The Garlic Farm Cottages and Luxury Yurts

There are seven beautifully converted self catering holiday cottages and five luxury yurts sleeping between two and ten people located in the immediate area around The Garlic Farm.

Country cottages
There is a variety of cottages to choose from at The Garlic Farm. From cottages that sleep 2 to a farmhouse that sleeps 10. All of the cottages have on the farm are equipped with free WIFI. Dogs are welcome in the cottages and each has its own enclosed garden space.

Little Mersley Farmhouse - historic farmhouse, sleeps 10.

The Milking Parlour - converted barn with ramp access, sleeps 4-6.

The Mill Cottage - 17th century converted barn, sleeps 4-6.

Kiln Cottage - spacious open plan converted barn, sleeps 4.

Barn Cottage - cosy barn conversion, sleeps 4.

Paddock Cottage - part of a converted barn, sleeps 2 + sofa bed. 

Farmhouse cottage - cottage annex, sleeps 2.

Luxury yurts
Experience all the beauty and closeness of nature with all the comforts of a country cottage. The five beautiful yurts sit in a private field behind The Garlic Farm.

They're perfect for couples and small families sleeping up to 4 in one king size double bed and two single mattresses on a mezzanine deck. The yurts have fully equipped kitchens with oven, hobs and fridge, dining and lounge space and ensuite toilet with walk-in shower. Each yurt also has a woodburning stove for the colder nights and the perspex dome on the roof winds open and closed. The yurts have sockets for hair dryers and charging devices.

Outside there is a fire pit, seating, hammock and BBQ. Two of the yurts have wood fired hot tubs. 

There is no WIFI in the yurts but guests can connect free of charge in the farm shop and restaurant. 

Group stays
The cottages and yurts can also be booked together for group accommodation for up to 50 people. It's the perfect place for get togethers, celebrations, weddings and activity weekends. The restaurant is available for private hire for evening dining by prior arrangement for groups of 20 or more. Or you can dine together in one of the cottages, the maximum number that can dine together is 16.

The five yurts booked together can accommodate up to 25. There is a communal party area with a dining yurt that can seat up to 25 people.

Activities onsite
A tennis court, football pitch and games room are available exclusively for our guests.

Restaurant onsite
The renowned onsite restaurant provides a cosy atmosphere with beautiful countryside views from the patio across the valley.  

Enjoy garlic-infused dishes, with locally sourced, Island ingredients used wherever possible. Often The Garlic Farm's very own pasture-raised beef and goat is on offer too. The restaurant serves a range of beautifully unique UK and organic wines, as well as locally sourced beer, ale and spirits – including their very own black garlic beer and vodka. 

Open daily for breakfast and lunch. Dine and afternoon tea are on selected dates.

Farm shop onsite
The Garlic Farm shop is the place to learn all about garlic, browse their shop full of unique and delicious garlicky products.

Location
The Garlic Farm is located within the countryside and provides wonderful walks around their farmland. An audio tour and maps are available. The farm is also ideally located to explore the Island on foot or bicycle.

There is a local pub just 1 mile away and beaches no more than 10 minutes by car or 25 minutes by bicycle. There are miles of footpaths and cycleways on the doorstep.
