Nestled in the peaceful grounds of The Garlic Farm in Newchurch, discover tranquillity and freedom. Our seven beautifully converted self-catering holiday cottages and five luxury yurts are the perfect retreat for families, couples and groups.

Country cottages
Year round, choose from a variety of cosy country cottages at The Garlic Farm, including a 17th century converted barn and a sensitively renovated, well-appointed historic cottage. All of the cottages on the farm are equipped with free WIFI. Dogs are welcome in the cottages and each has its own enclosed garden space.

Little Mersley Farmhouse - historic farmhouse, sleeps 10.

The Milking Parlour - converted barn with ramp access, sleeps 4-6.

The Mill Cottage - 17th century converted barn, sleeps 4-6.

Kiln Cottage - spacious open plan converted barn, sleeps 4.

Barn Cottage - cosy barn conversion, sleeps 4.

Paddock Cottage - part of a converted barn, sleeps 2 + sofa bed. 

Farmhouse cottage - cottage annex, sleeps 2.

Luxury yurts
Our yurts offer a delightful glamping experience from Easter to October – some with woodfired hot tubs for an added touch of outdoor luxury, and all with comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchens, dining and lounge space and ensuite toilet with walk-in shower. Each yurt has a woodburning stove for the colder nights and a fire pit, seating, hammock and BBQ outside, for the ultimate in al fresco relaxation.

There is no WIFI in the yurts but guests can connect free of charge in the farm shop and restaurant. 

Group stays
The cottages and yurts can also be booked together for group accommodation for up to 50 people. It's the perfect place for get togethers, celebrations, weddings and activity weekends. The restaurant is available for private hire for evening dining by prior arrangement for groups of 20 or more. Or you can dine together in one of the cottages, the maximum number that can dine together is 16.

The five yurts booked together can accommodate up to 25. There is a communal party area with a dining yurt that can seat up to 25 people.

Activities onsite
Enjoy exclusive amenities including a sauna hidden amongst the trees, a games room, tennis court and a football pitch. Children can play freely on our expansive farmland and many of our properties are pet-friendly, ensuring all members of the family can join in the fun.

Restaurant & farm shop onsite
Our award-winning restaurant and farm shop offer a true farm-to-table experience for garlic lovers. Enjoy garlic-infused dishes, with locally sourced, Island ingredients used wherever possible. Often our own pasture-raised beef and goat is on offer too. Our restaurant serves a range of beautifully unique UK and organic wines, as well as locally sourced beer, ale and spirits – including our very own black garlic beer and vodka. 

Open daily for breakfast and lunch. Dine and afternoon tea are on selected dates.

Location
The Garlic Farm is located within a picturesque Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) with wonderful walking paths on the farmland and surrounding countryside. The farm is also ideally located to explore the Island on foot or bicycle, with a local pub just 1 mile away and beaches no more than 10 minutes by car or 25 minutes by bicycle.
