About
Sainham Farm Holiday Cottages - Situated on a delightful farm in a lovely part of the island, these charming cottages rest in an Isle of Wight National Landscape (formerly known as Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) between Appuldurcombe Down and the picturesque village of Godshill.
Above the farm fields lie sweeping open downlands where sheep graze and you are welcome to walk along the marked trails. From here there are wonderful panoramic views across the Isle of Wight towards the mainland coastline. This is a wonderful area for spotting buzzards, skylarks, red squirrels, owls, woodpeckers and badgers. A ten-minute stroll through the beech copse and across the fields leads you to Godshill, a delightful village renowned for its church, thatched cottages and a variety of tea shops, restaurants and pubs. There is also immediate access from the farm courtyard to footpaths and bridleways leading to Appuldurcombe and along the Stenbury Trail to the Ventnor coast. Hop in the car to discover the beautiful beaches of Ventnor, Sandown and Shanklin.
