On the Isle of Wight, you are never too far from the beach and you can choose to make the most of our coastline and stay close by with our selection of coastal cottages and holiday homes.
Flackstead, managed by Classic Cottages is a unique eco-friendly house which has breathtaking and uninterrupted coastal views across Compton Bay towards the Needles. Close to the unspoilt Brook Beach, it’s the perfect base for surfing at Compton Bay and exploring the West Wight. Enjoy spectacular sunsets over the English Channel from the garden and balcony.
Enjoy a coastal hideaway at Romany Cottage in Totland. Situated in a quiet residential area and a short walking distance to both Colwell and Totland Bay, which are both part of the Round the Island Footpath. Close to Tennyson Down and Freshwater Bay, enjoy the amazing views from its top across the Solent.
If you are looking to be within walking distance of one of the Island’s premier sandy beaches, Tower Barn Cottage in Ryde is a great choice. Situated close to the golden sands of Appley Beach, this Grade II Listed cottage is quite unique and comes complete with its own tower and lovely sunny gardens.
For a stay in the popular sailing town of Cowes, Rosetta and East Rosetta are two scenic waterside self-catering National Trust holiday cottages, full of original features and sea views of the harbour and Solent. Both cottages are adjoined and share an entrance gate and path, so it's the perfect place to stay if you want to spend time with the whole family or a large group of friends.
For direct beach access, Isle of Wight Beach Homes looks after two properties with direct access to Priory Bay via a private track boasting an orchard, Victorian folly and stunning woodland. The beach is sandy, tree-lined and protected from the prevailing winds and is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful beaches on the Isle of Wight.
Beach Cottage offers scenic accommodations thanks to its location. Nestled between the beach on one side, and a woodland nature reserve on the other, it is a stunning and characterful coastal property, with wonderful sea views from both the living room and the master bedroom. The front-facing garden/bbq area is a great spot to watch the yachts sail by, or the sun setting over Fort Victoria. It opens out to a large communal garden in front of the beach, perfect for sundowners.
