- Farm animals such as miniature donkeys, pigs and chickens.

- High speed wi-fi and 2 x smart TV's.

- Baby equipment including travel cot, highchair, bed guard, baby bath, toys, and stair gates

- Walking and cycling on the farm and beyond where there are numerous footpaths and bridleways. The more adventurous can use the Mountain bike trails www.isleofwightmountainbikecentre.com which are based at the farm.

- Our farm butchery www.isleofwightmeat.co.uk can supply you with top quality, salt dry aged beef, lamb and pork from our own farm. Order online to get a meat box delivered to your fridge in time for your stay.

- Farm shop open on-site Monday to Saturday 9am to 2pm.

Location

- Area around the cottage is called the Bowcombe Valley (meaning beautiful) in an Isle of Wight National Landscape (formerly known as Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty).

- Sheep graze in the fields around the cottage and there is abundant wildlife in the surrounding fields and woods including hares, buzzards, red kites, partridges and red squirrels.

- 10 minute drive to Newport and to south coast sandy beaches.

Getting around

Cheverton Farm is on the Number 12 bus route between Newport and Freshwater. There is a bus stop outside the farm with about 7 buses a day.

Other things to note

- We now have high-speed internet (Starlink) of around 150-200mbps so it it suited to video calling and gaming requirements or remote working.

- Supermarkets such as Tesco, Sainsburys and Asda will deliver to the cottage.
