Classical BRIT Award nominee & Soprano headliner of 'Last Wight of the Proms' 2024
"Smiths soprano is a plush instrument, with bags of colour and integrated register: very easy on the ear." Bachtrack
Faryl Smith is a soprano whose performance repertoire includes opera, classical and classical crossover. She has released two albums with Decca Records both in the UK and the US. Faryl was privileged to perform with Jose Carreras at Hampton Court Palace and has also shared the stage with Placido Domingo, Jonas Kaufmann and Angela Gheorghiu at the Classical Brit Awards. She had the honour of performing for HRH Queen Elizabeth II several times during her career. Faryl recently covered the role of Giannetta in Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore at The Glyndebourne Opera House and performed in Il Barbiere di Siviglia as an Opera Holland Park Young Artist and at Waterperry Opera Festival. She also took part in a recent masterclass with Dame Kiri Te Kanawa.
