The Royal is known as the home of Afternoon Tea, ever since Queen Victoria enjoyed taking regular afternoon refreshment at the hotel in 1845, popularising Afternoon Tea to the nation. For a truly indulgent treat, the Royal Afternoon Tea consists of a delectable spread of freshly made finger sandwiches, warm scones, miniature pastries and cakes, accompanied by tea, coffee - or Champagne if you prefer.
*Booking is essential and a minimum of 24 hours notice is required when booking afternoon tea.
