Isle of Wight Guided Tours is a bespoke tour guiding service.

As well as guiding you, we help you plan your tour. This applies whether you are a lone traveller, a couple, a small independent group or a cruise ship passenger (or company) or a coach tour operator.

Whoever you are – our tours are all individual and personalised tours for YOU or your clients. The number of people that you book for will be the end number on your tour – you will not be joining another group - neither will anyone else be joining yours.

Our tours range from 2 hours through to a one- or two-week programme of sightseeing and activities.

For example, we can arrange a walking holiday or a fun English language refresher course! We can also arrange other special interest tours, whatever their duration – from art courses through to archaeological digs!

However, the majority of our bookings tend to be for day tours. The average tour duration is 5 – 8 hours. But each tour is different – because it is YOUR tour – and caters to your wishes and nobody else’s. Obviously, we work within the budget that you dictate – from ‘high end’ tours to those that are lower priced.

Our tours are also hugely varied. We list our most popular tried and tested ones on our website.

You can either choose to book one exactly as you see it OR mix and match OR start from scratch with something totally new, combining YOUR ideas and wishes with OUR expertise and local knowledge.

We are lucky enough to have a hand-selected team of wonderful guides. Many of them are highly qualified experts within their specialist fields. We are therefore always able to match you up with the most suitable person for your requirements.

For our day tours we charge an hourly rate for our guiding service. This price automatically includes a reasonable amount of pre-planning and liaising. And should your tour necessitate the preparation time exceeding this, no problem - we simply apply an agreed additional charge.  

Many of our tours require transport – at least for part of the day. Some require it for the whole day and others, not at all.

Our guide charges do not include transport. Hence, where transport is required, it needs to be hired. But no problem - we can help you arrange it!

By definition, our tours have no fixed starting and finishing point. This is inevitably dictated by YOUR location and wishes.
