Dogs are welcomed at places across the Isle of Wight, with plenty of places visitors can take their canine friends during their holiday.
One of the most popular places to take dogs are the Isle of Wight beaches, many of which allow dogs out of season, and others which allow dogs all year round. An up to date list of the seasonal beaches can be found on our Dog Friendly Beaches page.
Also popular are the walking trails which cover the Island – over 500 miles of footpaths in fact – with dedicated routes such as the Tennyson Trail and the Warrior Trail offering some of the most spectacular views of both Island sights and landmarks.
Dogs are welcome on board the buses, which makes getting around for long exploratory walks easy - stop off for a bite to eat at one of the Isle of Wight pubs, many of which will allow dogs on leads in their beer gardens and some inside.
There are also plenty of Isle of Wight attractions that accept dogs, so you can take your faithful friends with you to enjoy some traditional holiday fun in theme parks, historic buildings of interest and parks and gardens.
