The Braemar, is a family run B&B situated in what is widely considered to be the most characterful part of Shanklin, The Old Town.  With a location rating of 9.2, it is a few minutes walk to the beaches, town center, Shanklin Theatre and the famous Shanklin Chine, a treat for all plant and wildlife lovers. If you are ready for lunch or dinner, we have a large number of fantastic eateries on our doorstep.

AA 3 Star has been given in previous years. With upgrades and refurbished rooms the high standard continues.

We are perfectly located to explore the Island, by car, by public transport or if you are feeling more energetic, by cycle.  Manual and electric bikes are  available to rent from a local bike shop.  You could even try a Segway tour !

All rooms are en-suite and include free Wifi, flat-screen TVs with Freesat channels and complimentary hot drink choices.  We have a mixture of family, double or twin and single rooms.

The B&B’s facilities include a unique wrap-around sun terrace, accessible directly from most first floor rooms, a calm Breakfast Room to enjoy the delicious breakfast offerings and a relaxing lounge with Pool table, TV and comfortable areas to sit with a book from the selection available or play a board game or two.

At the rear of the property is private parking for 6-8 vehicles, with a public car park a few seconds walk way.

Dog friendly rooms are available for well-behaved small to medium dogs, with parks and walks with breathtaking views closeby.
