Salty Holidays is in the best location in Ventnor to relax and enjoy the stunning sea views. Facing south on a quiet road with private parking, it is only a stones throw from the beach and only 5 mins walking distance to town.

Our self catering apartments are bright, comfortable and decorated with lovely coastal touches. We have free fast fibre WIFI broadband, parking and laundry facilities. We have been delighted with the very positive feedback from our guests (check out our reviews on trip advisor) and are pleased that many of our guests come back again and again!

We are situated in the victorian coastal town of Ventnor which is famous for its warm, mediterranean style microclimate with many tropical plants, as it enjoys the most sunshine hours in the UK. With its family friendly beach, lined with pretty victorian beach huts and fantastic coastal scenery, it is perfect for families or couples and often attracts walkers, writers and artists who come in search of unspoilt views. Its mix of small shops and many popular restaurants offer something for everyone. Some of our apartments are also dog friendly.

From East Cowes ferry, second exit at roundabout onto Well Road, A3021, A3054 to Newport, A3020 to Sandown, A3020 to Shanklin, at Whiteley Bank turn right for B3327 to Ventnor.
From Fishbourne ferry, B3339 (Fishbourne lane), A3054 to Newport, A3020 to Sandown, A3020 to Shanklin, at Whiteley Bank turn right for B3327 to Ventnor.
From Yarmouth ferry, A3054 to Totland, A3055 to Freshwater, A3055 to Ventnor.

Public Transport Directions

Southampton and Portsmouth ferry terminals are both linked to London by fast rail services, the journey time taking approximately one and a half hours from Waterloo. Tickets can be purchased to include ferry crossing and train to Shanklin. Either jump in a taxi, or Southern Vectis bus service 3 takes you through to Ventnor where it’s a 5 minute walk downhill to the apartments.
