Lyon Court is a beautiful country house in Shanklin (10 mins walk to old village and shops, 15 mins walk to Shanklin beaches) that has been converted into apartments offering self catering accommodation:

The Garret (sleeps up to 6) is situated on the first floor, away from the main house, with aspects to the south, west & east. The family room incorporates the kitchen, dining area, and comfortable seating. This bright and airy double aspect room has a southerly view along the side of the house to the gardens and pool; it also overlooks the courtyard, and benefits from the evening sun.

Bedroom 1 has a double bed, bunk beds and space for a cot. 

Bedroom 2 has a double bed and space for a cot, featuring a roof window that catches the morning sun. 

Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with bath and shower over, and WC.

The Old Stable (sleeps 2) is a chalet-style building is set in the gardens, with its own raised and fenced terrace looking out over the lawns.  The terrace is equipped with a gas BBQ and both dining and comfy seating.

The original twin stable doors have been retained and inside it has been converted into a lovely large room with double bed with room for a cot if required. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a small dining area if eating al fresco is not your thing.  

The Bathroom is equipped with WC and shower over bath.

No matter which flat you choose to stay in, you will have access to all of the facilities at Lyon Court including a large, heated outdoor pool, (from Whitsun weekend until the end of September), gas BBQs, on site launderette and extensive landscaped gardens. 

There are also excellent facilities for children including a play set, slide, swings and a split level playhouse.

Lyon Court offers incentives for guests travelling without cars - from free transfers from Shanklin train station to 24-hour Group Rover bus ticket for up to 5 people at a discounted price of £1.
