Hill Croft Cottage, located in an Isle of Wight National Landscape (formerly known as Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) in Niton Undercliff at the southern tip of the Island. There are some lovely coastal walks from the doorstep, Ventnor beach is a short drive away and the local dog friendly pub, serving food, is within walking distance. Nearby is St Catherine’s Lighthouse and you can explore the area where Marconi made some of his early radio experiments.

The local Reeth Bay beach is accessible at low tide by traversing across pebbles and small boulders, ideal for rock pooling or a quick swim in the sea. There is also an open-air outdoor café/restaurant located at Castlehaven (seasonal opening). All within walking distance from Hill Croft, although the walk back up will get your heart pumping!

The main village of Niton is just ½ a mile away with a local convenience store, post office, pharmacy, pottery workshop/shop and two further pubs.

Hill Croft dates back to the late 1890’s, is a spacious detached cottage and can accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms; a master bedroom with king size bed, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and main bathroom with bath and shower over.  The two larger bedrooms have lovely sea views across the English Channel.

On the ground floor there is a well equipped kitchen and dining room, sitting room with wood burning stove, conservatory and ground floor wc. The kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher, washer/dryer, oven, hob, microwave, fridge and freezer.

There is also a lean to shed off the kitchen which houses the charcoal BBQ and is an ideal area to store bicycles or other beach equipment.

Hill Croft is dog friendly and has a secure and sheltered south facing garden with mature shrubs and patio area for outdoor dining. The garden also has a small mesh covered pond and mesh covered well.

There is off road parking for 1 car (2 with careful parking) and further parking is available on the street. There are steps from the parking area and a cobbled path leading to the front door.
