WIN a 5-night family break 2025 terms & conditions
- The Visit Isle of Wight ‘WIN a 5-night family break to the Isle of Wight during May Half-Term 2025!' (the "Competition") is open to residents of the UK aged over 18.
- The Competition is not open to employees or agencies of Visit Isle of Wight Ltd ("VIOW"), their group companies or family members or anyone else connected to the Competition.
- Entry into the Competition is acceptance of these terms and conditions and those of other partners listed below.
- To enter the Competition you must enter your details on the visitisleofwight.co.uk competition page. If you have any questions about how to enter or in connection with the competition, please email info@visitwight.org with ‘WIN a 5-night family break to the Isle of Wight during May Half-Term 2025!' in the subject line.
- Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. You are responsible for the cost of sending your Competition entry to us.
- No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.
- The Competition closes at 23:59 on Friday 31st January 2025. Entries received after that date and time will not be considered.
- Winners will be chosen from a random draw of entries.
- The prize includes the following (please see individual items for specific t&cs):
- Red Funnel Ferries:
- Red Funnel return ferry travel from Southampton-East Cowes for one private vehicle, subject to ferry availability.
- If not bringing a vehicle, return foot passenger travel from Southampton-East Cowes or West Cowes can be offered as an alternative.
- The prize must be taken as offered, not refundable, cannot be exchanged for a cash equivalent and is not transferable. No part or parts of the prizes may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions.
- Red Funnel reserves the right to amend, alter or withdraw the prize draw as necessary at Red Funnel’s sole discretion.
- Red Funnel’s standard terms and conditions of carriage apply.
- Wightlink Ferries:
- Wightlink free of charge single use promotion code, which the winner can use to book a return ferry ticket on any Wightlink service.
- Times will be subject to ferry availability.
- The prize is non-refundable, subject to availability, non-transferrable, non-exchangeable and has no cash redemption value.

- Hovertravel:
- Family prize ticket valid for up to 2 adults and 3 children to travel with Hovertravel Ltd between Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight.
- Foot passenger return tickets only valid during May Half-Term 2025.
- Departure times subject to availability.
- Prize cannot be exchanged or transferred to any other product. Prize has no monetary value for refund or exchange and is offered via Visit Isle of Wight only.

- Southern Vectis:
- The winner will receive a group ticket (up to 5 people) for a 7-day freedom ticket to use on all the Southern Vectis bus networks, including the Open Top Bus network.
- The tickets are valid for May Half-Term 2025 only.
- The ticket will be gifted in the Southern Vectis APP so a valid account must be activated to receive the prize. Download the App here.
- The prize is non-refundable, non-transferrable, non-exchangeable and has no cash redemption value.
- Retro Staycations:
- This prize can be taken during May Half-Term 2025 only, subject to availability.
- The prize must be taken as offered, not refundable, cannot be exchanged for a cash equivalent and is not transferable for use by anyone other than the prize winner.

- Monkey Haven:
- Family ticket 2 adults + 3 children.
- Valid during May Half-Term 2025 only.

- The Needles Landmark Attraction:
- The prize includes free car parking for day of visit and return chairlift ride (one ride only) for 2 adults and up to 3 children.
- Prize also includes £40 supersaver tickets which can be used on site apart from: Traditional Arcade Games, Gold and Silver Shop & Clothes Boutique.

- Tapnell Farm Park:

- Wildheart Animal Sanctuary:
- 1 x Family Pass (2 adults + 2 children) to the Sanctuary valid for May Half-Term 2025.
- The expiry date cannot be extended.
- The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.
- Wildheart Animal Sanctuary reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond their control require doing so.
- The Wildheart Trust's decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
- The Island Tea & Coffee Co.:
- Discover the magic and skill of a master roaster and experience creating freshly roasted coffee at Island Tea & Coffee Co. with a coffee roasting experience.
- At the end of your Coffee Roast Experience with Island Tea & Coffee Co. you will receive your own personalised bag of freshly roasted coffee from your roast.

- The Fishbourne Inn:

- £100 voucher to spend either in the shop or restaurant and valid throughout May Half Term 2025.

- The Cow, Tapnell Farm:
- Meal up to the value of £100. Any spend over this to be covered by customer.

- Harvey Browns:
- Breakfast and a drink for 2 adults and up to 3 children. This includes anything from the breakfast menu plus a hot or cold drink for each person.
- Maximum spend £100.
- No change given, no cash alternative, non-refundable, non-transferrable and non-exchangeable.
- The Buddle Smugglers Inn:
- Food and drinks for 2 adults and up to 3 children for one day at The Buddle Inn, Niton (max spend £100).
- No change given, no cash alternative, non-refundable, non-transferrable and non-exchangeable.
- The winner of the competition will be notified by email on or before the 7th February 2025 and given details of how to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to VIOW within 2 days of being notified by VIOW, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and VIOW shall be entitled to randomly select another winner (and that winner will have to respond to the email from VIOW within 2 days or else they will also forfeit their prize).
- Visit Isle of Wight reserves the right to redraw the competition prize up to three times if the initial winners do not claim their prize. If no one claims the prize after the third redraw, the competition will be considered void.

- Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude the liability of VIOW for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.
- VIOW accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the prize. VIOW further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the competition.
- VIOW reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently end this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud, supervening/intervening legislation). The decision of VIOW in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
- VIOW shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening/intervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
