Sailcottages are a small local business with holiday cottages in and around Cowes and the charming quiet village of Gurnard.

Gurnard lies just to the west of the famous yachting town of Cowes, which is only a 25 minute walk away along the lovely Prince Albert promenade.

A great location to base yourself if you want to explore the Island on foot, by car, bike or even using the local excellent bus network. It is on the Isle of Wight Coastal Path from Cowes to Yarmouth and also on the 2022 Tour of Britain route.

Gurnard beach, and its iconic beach huts has some of the best sunsets in the UK.

Each of our Gurnard cottages are ideal for couples, with king sized beds and plenty of room to make yourself feel at home. Both have secure bike storage, EV charge points and off road parking.

New for 2024 we will be adding a 4 bedroom town house in the heart of Cowes which is located only 5 minutes walk from the town centre with its marinas, cafes, bars, restaurants, and ferry links to Southampton. This makes it very popular with both visiting yachtsmen during the world famous Cowes week and other regattas over the summer, as well as large or multi family groups as it benefits from 2 separate  bathrooms and a master bedroom with its own en suite.
