You don't have to bring your car to the Island to enjoy Island life. Arrive on the Red Jet into Cowes, or as a foot passenger into East Cowes and you'll be able to explore the rest of the Island with ease.
The national cycle network runs from Cowes into Newport, from there you'll be able to follow the network to the rest of the Island. Or peddle your way down through East Cowes and onto the national cycle network into Newport - or follow the roads and pathways to Ryde.
The Island is also perfect for walking, with plenty of wonderful walks on offer. Why not follow the river into Newport, or climb the hills and make your way towards Ryde. Cowes is the perfect base for you to start your Isle of Wight adventure with sustainable travel.
Cowes and East Cowes are also served by regular bus services across the Island.
