Here’s everything you need to know if you want to sail over in your own vessel. We’d love to have you…
Cowes Harbour can welcome and accommodate most vessels, and there are cheaper alternative moorings outside the marina if you prefer. For example, there are swinging moorings in Cowes Roads with amazing views of the Solent, or quiet and chilled moorings further up the River Medina. For size limitations or for any other information, you can contact the Marinas directly. All the information you need is over at Cowes Harbour Commission. Here are the moorings they have available: Shepards Wharf Marina (Call on VHF Channel 80) River Pontoons (Call 'HM1' on VHF Channel 69) • Trinity Landing • Town Quay • Whitegates • The Folly Inn Pontoons (Call Folly Moorings on VHF Channel 72) Swinging Moorings (Call 'HM1' on VHF Channel 69) • J row Outer Harbour • Day Class Moorings
We also have annual mooring opportunities in Cowes, giving you a lovely base to explore Cowes and the Island. All of the Cowes Harbour Commission annual moorings are located centrally and have a harbour water taxi service available to them. More than 650 annual licences can be granted, covering different mooring options. Event moorings are also available for Regattas like the world-famous Cowes Week, and the Round the Island Race. Contact the Cowes Harbour Moorings team for more information. We look forward to welcoming you and your vessel very soon!
